2nd Shift CNC Machinist (Large VMC)

Candidates must be self-motivated and eager to conquer a new opportunity.

This is a permanent 2nd shift position to operator a large VMC 50-Taper with Fanuc control.

  • A willingness and ability to plan and meet performance expectations in a multi-tasking and team oriented environment
  • Operate a Fanuc CNC control
  • Operate an overhead, electric crane to load the machine
  • Download and run programs coming from a CAM programmer
  • Read a setup sheet and set-up your own tools
  • Must be able to read blueprints and have excellent math skills.
  • Knowledge and ability to edit G&M codes, MDI Programming, Conversational as well as Programmable Controls
  • Perform setups and adjust offsets as needed
  • Be able to read micrometers, calipers, gauges and inspect work against blueprints and / or CAD Model
  • Must have own tools
