CNC Machinist (Lathe)

This is a permanent position to operator a Mazak turning center with live tooling.

 Responsibilities:

  • A willingness and ability to plan and meet performance expectations in a multi-tasking and team oriented environment
  • Operate a Mazak Lathe  (mazatrol control)
  • Operate an overhead, electric crane to load the machine
  • Create and modify programs
  • Read a setup sheet and set-up your own tools
  • Must be able to read blueprints and have excellent math skills.
  • Knowledge and ability to edit G&M codes, MDI Programming, Conversational as well as Programmable Controls
  • Perform setups and adjust offsets as needed
  • Be able to read micrometers, calipers, gauges and inspect work against blueprints and / or CAD Model
  • Must have own tools
