CNC PROGRAMMER

Job Description

The CNC Programmer is responsible for translating and converting print dimensional specification to CNC code to ensure optimal product quality and performance. Analyzes operational data submitted by engineers, shop floor personnel, and / or customers as it applies to automated equipment operation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
1) Develop manufacturing processes and CNC programming to optimize manufacturing times including cycle and processes.
2) Implement cost reduction by working closely with engineering, quality and manufacturing to reduce scrap and waste.
3) Prepares tooling and layout sheets for machine operators to setup jobs.
4) Provides assistance for quotations
5) Assists in equipment validation
6) Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
1) Knowledge of CAD/CAM for designing and manufacturing (MASTERCAM X 2D AND 3D)
2) Experience in the area of manufacturing operations with emphasis in the area of multi-axis milling
4) Good oral and written communication skills
5) Ability to prioritize and work independently
6) Driven to resolve problems systematically and methodically
7) Teamwork oriented

Requirements:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
1) Associate’s degree or the equivalent of in related field
2) Minimum of five years experience as a CNC programmer in a manufacturing environment

Shipping/Receiving Clerk

1st shift

About the job:

Advanced tooling Specialist is looking for a Shipping and Receiving clerk.

Duties will include but not be limited to:

Performs a combination of manual and clerical shipping and/or receiving duties which may require the use of hand trucks, forklifts, and other devices, as well as computers to maintain data.

Receives incoming materials or prepares materials for shipment.

Verifies quantity, weight, and conformance of materials; prepares records of materials shipped and bills of lading; routes materials to destinations.

May layout, fabricate, and assemble nonstandard shipping crates and boxes, and prepare parts and tooling for special shipment.

Requires delivery of material via company truck.

Basic Qualifications:

High School diploma. Valid drivers license required

Machinist (Experienced)

1st and 2nd Shift

About the Job:

Advanced Tooling Specialists is looking for Experienced Machinist with extensive CNC and conventional machining skills for prototype to moderate production rates.

REQUIREMENTS:

* High school diploma

* 5+ years CNC Machining, Mill experience

* Conventional Machining experience

DUTIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT WILL NOT BE LIMITED TO:

* Read and interpret blueprints and diagrams to select, position and secure machinery.

* Adjust machine setting to complete tasks according to specification accurately and in a timely fashion.

* Set up and operate computer numerical controlled lathes and mills.

* Create and edit operating procedures.

* Work from drawings, sketches, engineering drawings, and verbal or written instructions given by Supervisor, Programmer or Team Leader.

* Reads programs and follows the operation sequence and cutters path.

* Work from blueprints and sketches.

* Use precision measuring instruments to check dimensional accuracy of work.

* Maintain clean, orderly and safe work area and ensure proper handling of tools, equipment and stock to prevent loss.

* Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.

* Observe and comply with all safety regulations and company policies.
