Due to sustained company growth needs, ATS has the following rare opening for machinists on the following machining centers:

• Vertical Machining Centers (VMC)

Essential Responsibilities:

• A willingness and ability to plan and meet performance expectations in a multi-tasking and team-oriented environment
• Set-up your own tools when necessary
• Must be able to read blueprints and have good math skills.
• Knowledge and ability to edit G&M codes
• Perform setups and adjust offsets as needed
• Be able to read micrometers, calipers, gauges and inspect work against blueprints and / or CAD Model
• Driven to resolve problems and help others
• Must have a good attitude and work well with others
• Must have own tools
• Operation of a horizontal machining center (HMC) a strong plus but not necessary (possible training opportunities for the right candidate)
• Conversational control programming capabilities a strong plus but not necessary (possible training opportunities for the right candidate)
• Mastercam programming capabilities a strong plus but not necessary (possible training opportunities for the right candidate)
